Suspended silicon bronze within coiled stainless steel, reflected light

This sculpture represents the first time I have combined the linear form of the stainless steel with the reflected quality of the silicon bronze. The stainless steel is a serpentine shape and the silicon bronze is a flat shape curved into a spiral. The contrast of form and material expresses my intention as the sculpture's creator to explore a common theme in my work.
